COPPER PROCESSING
MCI Cables has an in-house copper processing unit capable of processing 8mm rods into various smaller diameters and gauges. After copper is processed into required diameter, it is annealed and bunched to achieve a high quality copper rope. MCI Cables’ state of the art Copper Processing Unit has precise process controls which allows accuracy up to 0.01mm while controlling physical properties such as elongation, resistance and oxidation of the final product.
